|"What a dignified final resting place for my Father.|
The quality of the urn and the detail of the surrounding eagle are just stunning. Perfect."
The US Army urn honors the person who proudly served in this branch of the military. It is made in the U.S. from select grade red alder and red oak, beautifully finished with a clear varnish. Cremains are loaded through the base of the urn by removing screws using a #2 Phillips/Square Head screwsdriver. Included is a 2 millimeter poly liner to place the cremains into before placing them inside the urn.
Each urn has the military insignia laser engraved into the wood. The urn can be personalized by adding name, birth and passing dates, military rank or a loving remark such as Loving Husband and Father.
This urn is also available with an optional memorial chest add-on. This can be used as a place to keep mementos (i.e. insignias, medals, ribbons, and photos) of your loved one, while the separate lower area is a cremation urn. The chest is lined with a hunter green felt flocking. The standard depth of the memory chest area is about 1.5" deep. The lid has two hidden solid brass hinges and a solid brass friction latch. Please note the reduction of space for cremains with the addition of the memorial chest.
