The bark of the Mulberry tree naturally ex foliates; the bark is harvested just as you might harvest fruit off a tree. The tree continues to grow after harvesting, and we do what we can to protect ancient woodland areas. These urns do not have any metal or plastic components; they will biodegrade naturally. The time it takes to break down will vary depending on climatic conditions. This popular heart shaped urn comes in three sizes: Mini – a perfect size for the symbolic scattering of a portion of the cremated remains - suitable as an infant or child cremation urn. The urn measures 4.5" x 5" x 3.5" and has a volume of 54 cubic inches Adult – is suitable to hold the cremated remains of an adult. The urn measures 7" x 8" x 5" and has a volume of 220 cubic inches. Companion - is suitable for combining the cremated remains of two people or for a large adult. The urn measures 8" x 9" x 7" and has a volume of 360 cubic inches.
