At some point in everyone’s lifetime, a loved one is lost. American Cremation & Casket Alliance, a group of family-owned funeral homes in Seattle and Tacoma, Washington, are here to help you through this difficult time by taking the weight of planning a funeral off of your shoulders. Funeral planning can be very stressful, especially if the loved one was very close to you, and you’re in charge of planning the ceremony. They provide a wide range of services that include funeral planning, funeral services, cremation services, and funeral pre-arrangement.

There are a few different kinds of funeral services that ACCA provides during your time of need. A direct burial without graveside service, one of the services they provide, is a straightforward burial service. This option does not include a burial with family members present. Their second burial option is a direct burial with graveside service included. This includes all of the above, but instead of no family members being present at time of burial, a graveside service is performed. The casket is closed during this type of funeral.

A full mortuary service is what a lot of bereaved opt for. In addition to the basic services, ACCA can prepare the body for burial (dressing included), and set up a ceremony in a place of your choice, like a church or other location. The price of a casket is not included in any of these services.

In addition to these services, they can forward the remains to another funeral via aircraft, or receive remains from another funeral home if necessary.

If your loved one opted for cremation, ACCA has services for that, too. Their complete cremation service is similar to the complete funeral service, except instead of a casketed burial, a cremation will occur. An immediate cremation service is that same process, but expedited. The body is cremated first, and then a memorial service is provided, in which the body is not present. With a direct cremation, the third option, there is no service or memorial, but the body is taken directly into their care.

When it comes time to take care of the ashes, ACCA has a few options available. First of all, they can hold them in an outdoor, above ground niche. They can scatter them in a designated location, or even in the sea or stars, if requested. A traditional burial is what most opt for – it’s simply a ground burial for the ashes. Finally, they can memorialize the deceased with a tree plaque, a park bench, or another memorial of your choosing.

If you don’t want to leave the stress of arranging a funeral in the hands of a loved one, you can pre-plan your funeral, and the funeral of your partner if desired. This is a great option because you can arrange the funeral exactly to your specifications. If you have an idea in mind about what you want your funeral to be like, then you should consider this.

At American Cremation & Casket Alliance, they understand that a funeral can be a very difficult time for you and your family. This is why they offer multiple services to make sure that the event is done properly and without any complication.
