Caregiving – Renewing Body and Soul

When we are in the midst of caregiving for a loved one or grieving over a loss, we forget to take moments out of each day to renew our bodies and our spirits. We can do this in numerous ways, each of us exhilarating in the beauty of the moment, whether it be preparing a beautiful dinner for ourselves and our loved ones, going outside for a few minutes and enjoying the sunshine, fresh air, flora and fauna, or just taking a few quiet moments to sit and close our eyes and think about all the blessings in our lives. These activities relieve stress and renew energy, physically, mentally, and emotionally.
