The rule of thumb to figure the size dog urn or cat urn you need is calculated as one poun of body weight equals one cubic inch of capacity. If your cat weighed 15 pounds then you need a cat cremation urn that is roughly 15 cubic inches. It's best to be safe with cremation urns and plan on an urn that is little bigger than you need.
