We are very happy and proud to feature the beautiful and elegant Akira Raku Cremation urn crafted using techniques and traditions from Japan to America.

Tradtional Raku processes are used to produce the beautiful glazing with its characteristic random raku crazing pattern, color, and the elegantly clean lines that are both calming and inspiring. Raku color glazes vary somewhat depending on the thickness of the glaze and the firing conditions. You are ensured of a unique and one of a kind work of art as no two will be exactly alike.

The Raku lid is adorned with black bamboo and a Zuni inspired gem stone held in place by waxed sinew. Under the lid, one can even tie a small momento or parting wish. The lid will stay on but can be made completely secure with a little adhesive.

As these are custom works of hand-crafted art, please allow 2 weeks before your urn is shipped.

Extras:
-  A wood base is included.
-  A sealable poly liner bag is included.
