The Ruby Marble with Angel Keepsake Urn is honed out of a square of deep ruby red marble that is polished on the top but the sides are rough-hewn. The small angel sits on the urn, watching over your loved one. A name plate personalizes the urn/keepsake. The urn is easily loaded through an opening in the base of the urn that is secured with a screw-in plug. This urn is fairly small and is meant to be used as a keepsake but is also large enough for very tiny infants weighing no more than eight pounds. Please contact your funeral home to be sure this is an appropriate size for your infant. Many times infants are cremated in caskets or with blankets and other objects that add to the volume of ash so this size may not be appropriate for all infants.
